I spent my post yesterday nattering on about how much I liked Jil Sander's designs and completely forgot about the collaboration with Uniqlo, called '+J'. It is a capsule collection of classic Sander pieces reworked for Uniqlo and priced very affordably! I bought the cardigan above recently, it was reduced from £29.99 (which is bargainous anyway!) to £12.99. My basic beige H&M cardigan has seen better days and so I thought I'd nab this one as a potential replacement. It really is lovely and the shape and style is classic JS. If you like Jil Sander designs but don't have the budget to stretch to actual mainline pieces, collaborations like this are an easy way of investing in the label.Uniqlo is a really decent site anyway, it's a Japenese label that specialises in casual daywear. I've bought some sweats and lounge pieces from there before and the quality is excellent, not reflected in the price points at all! They often do quirky little concessions with designers and artists so it is well worth keeping it on your favourite's list to check back on every so often, especially if you like more edgy, urban streetwear that isn't overly logoed.
