I love the classic, timeless and clean look pioneered by Jil Sander, and took my inspiration from this for yesterday's look.
Above: I love the clean lines of the black blazer, and the slickness of the shirt and skinny trouser combo. The little lacey brogues add a hint of femininity to what could be quite a masculine-leaning style.
I did the same yesterday, keeping my outfit really basic (harem pants+oversized tailored blazer+white tee) and then adding other elements with the sequin beret and mustard yellow jewelled ballet pumps.
I love the shape of the harems with the jacket, and I like the simplicity and masculine/feminine mix of the outfit. Also it was a good choice with the weather, as it was warm but not hot and quite breezy.

I had a lovely day shopping with my mum. We just planned to spend the day together really as we are really close but I don't get to see her as much as I'd like. So in the unusual event that I have a Saturday off, we decided to make the most of it!
I bought a few bits and pieces, I'll do a haul post in a minute! What do you think of the masculine/feminine, androgynous look? Is it something you would wear? I often consider myself to be very 'girlie' in the way I dress but there is something confidence boosting about a really slick, tailored look.

Cool outfit!
