I thought in this post I'd share a few pieces that I'd bought to update my AW2010 wardrobe. I've hit the sales a little bit, but hasve tried not to spend too much or buy too much, just a few classic updaters. The Kurt Geiger sandals above are a case in point-just £29 and perfectly on trend for the 'tribal' styles so hot right now. I think they'll also be a great day shoe with my harems when it gets a little cooler.
Laurie Lipton for All Saints 'fourth horseman' top...I caved in in Spitalfields and bought this...dark/uban/gothic looks always prevail for AW so I think that this will fit the bill prefectly for a lot of different looks.
Mock-crop detail top from Cos....I love the pocket detailing. A brilliant basic.
Scratch print scarf, also from Cos..the grey tones and muted pattern are so 'me' and this will work with pretty much everything I own!
Finally....a pair of clogs that I saw in Zara reduced from £70 to £30...and they're a more 'everyday' height and colour than my lovely Jones ones. I shall be wearing them right into winter with tights or chunky knitted socks!xoxo
