There's certain things that we, as Brits, come to accept as fact. August will be wet. A little bit of snow will halt the entire country. Our national football team will (one day) be triumphant. We like to queue. And also, there's nothing that can't be fixed with a nice cup of tea.
Since today was Sunday, and most of you will have probably spent it reaxing, I thought I'd rebel against the fact that I couldn't, as I had to work, by making sure I wore a 'comfortable' outfit. Now in the normal way, 'comfort' and 'fashion' aren't usually in cohorts, but today I managed it (in a way) with this big hug of a cardi which I am just loving at the moment. I never normally wear skinny jeans either but I picked up a couple of pairs with my uniform allowance and I think they make a nice alternative to my usual harem/pegged trouser styles. I also like looking a little more 'streamlined' than I usually do!

I have really felt the seasons start to change over the last week or so, it always seems the same that after Carnival and Fair time in my town it suddenly seems to go colder. I am on the lookout for a new winter coat, I feel I am a little late with this but so far have not seen any I like that cost less than £1000, which I can ill afford!
Sorry the pictures are a little dark today-I had to take them inside since it was lashing it down earlier. Hopefully I'll be back on form tomorrow with better ones :D
