Ok, so I failed a little in my winter essentials purchasing this year, because I found a pair of shearling gloves in the charity shop, and then ended up buying a shearling aviator, and everyone knows you can't wear 2 pieces of shearling together...though I have, and it doesn't look too bad, but I think they look better with this cape.
I'll be honest, they're too big (I've got little paws) and I think they look a little like boxing gloves, but, you know what? I don't actually care as they are SO warm, they keep my hands toasty. I always really suffer from dry skin on my hands in winter, so I am hoping that wearing these (and using my v.v.espensive Dior hand cream) will keep the chapped painfulness away!
Cape, Gloves: Vintage Knit, Blouse, Jeans: Gap Socks: Primark Shoes: Staccato.
This is quite a mixed up look-I'm overhauling my wardrobe at the mo and have chucked loads out. I am actually wearing work uniform here and I still can't say I'm convinced by these jeans. I must be the only girl in the world who doesn't like skinny jeans, and the more I try, the less I like. Conversely everytime I wear these, the Boy always says, 'oooh, I like your trousers.' So they obviously work for him!
I hadn't forgotten my threat/promise to do a vlog, the reasons it is outstanding are twofold: 1) I can't get the uploading feature on my blimming phone to work, and 2) {and possibly more pressing} I've listened to vlog I made back and...omg. Do I really sound like that? I sound a lot like a bad answerphone message, and I don't think I shall inflict it on you...yet!
xoxo
cute cute cute! you totally know how to work the color scheme for your outfits. and the gloves do look really good with the cape that you have on.
It looks great! And capes are so huge this season.
