I had a fabulous time this weekend. I actually had a weekend off work for a change so friday night felt like it was meant to...yay the weekend was nearly here!
On Saturday my best friend Casey came up to our new house for a visit with her husband and gorgeous baby daughter Maisie. We had such a great time catching up! They went around lunchtime and then Adrian and I went homeeeeee for the rest of the weekend! (hence the reason there was no post yesterday!) It was soooo great to see my mum and brothers and dad and Adrian had a great time catching up with his family and friends too. I was just sad we weren't able to stay longer!
Mum took these pictures for me in the garden. The weekend was absolutely beautiful, the sun was shining and it really felt like spring. It was even quite warm out of the wind!
Cardigan, Chanel Bag: Vintage Blouse: H&M Jeans: Quiksilver Women Shoes: Staccato
I love the lace detailing to this blouse, it's so pretty. I decided to go for comfort with this outfit as I had a lot of driving to do over the weekend and I think it is important to look good but feel good too.
As most of my followers will know, I am a complete trouser girl-I never wear jeans. However, of all the brands I've tried (and I've tried a LOT of different ones) the best fitting, and most comfortable ones I've found (and therefore, the only ones I'll wear!) are by Quiksilver Women. This brand is so underrated, they produce gorgeous pieces in incredible fabrics and great cuts. The pieces are more on the casual side of my style but I like to wear them anyway and dress them up. I've treated myself to a few new pieces just lately that I'm sure you'll be seeing soon. If you want to check them out for yourself have a look here.
I had such a lovely time at home, and I also picked up all the post which I haven't yet changed my address on. So I have Elle, Vogue, ASOS mag, H&M and French Connection catalogues to devour now!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, whatever you've been up to.
xoxo
