True Blue...

I found this leather vintage skirt on eBay and ended up winning it for about £3.20. I was so pleased when it came and it was completely gorgeous, the photo on the site was a little grainy so it could have been a right dud but I absolutely love it. I loved Adrian's reaction to it a little less...."cripes" was his first exclamation when he clocked me in it but after realising it didn't bite he soon came around and decided he liked it too. Which is nice!

I have a vintage theme going on here. The shoes were from a vintage jumble sale in Bristol and they didn't cost a lot, maybe about £3? I found a pair of Charles Jourdan's in the Banardo's in the town along from ours on Friday too-and I snapped them up for £2.99. I was sad to leave behind a pair of quilted, black patent French Sole ballet pumps priced at £1.40, but even with an insole I don't think my size three-and-a-halfs could manage to fill a size seven. Pity.

This little crochet waistcoat was a Primark find. I like to wear a bit o'vintage with a bit o'high street and maybe a bit o'designer mixed in. When I can afford it. Which isn't often.

Skirt, Shoes, Bag, Jewellery: Vintage  Tee: New Look Waistcoat, Belt: Primark

Sorry there was no post yesterday...I worked and then Adrian and I enjoyed a very brief jaunt back to the homestead; we caught up with his lovely mum and dad before going to watch a gig in which he played with his band and we caught up with some friends there, before going home to my mum and dad's; we stayed there and then left early this morning to come back as we both had to work. Neither of us wanted to leave! Devon in the glorious sun is incredible, beautiful and calm, coupled with not really having long enough to catch up with our loved ones as much as we would have liked meant we were a bit sad to say bye. But we'll be back soon I'm sure.

I am loving the sunshine, though being careful to wear my suncream, I normally make sure I use a foudation or  moisturiser with a good SPF. A lovely follower of mine asked which makeup I used the other day; not sure if this is of interest to anyone else, but for those who want to know I use either Clinique redness solutions, which is really a superlight coverup makeup which is perfect for balancing my skin tone, or Lancome Teint Miracle which is again really light but gives great coverage. They are quite pricey so if I'm feeling the pinch I also rate Rimmel 25 hour foundation which has a lovely texture. My friend uses Chanel Vitalumiere which I am tempted to try but am going to have to save up for that one....!
