I'm all for comfort as you guys all know, so this new trend for 'slipper' style shoes has my name all over it. I love a decent flat and especially since these are such a luxe take on them, they're right up my street. The Atelier Voisin pair are probably the most literal take on the trend, but to give it a try without feeling like you're actually wearing hard-soled slippers, a completely plain loafer is a fabulous way to spin the trend; the Sioux pair is a perfect example.
For the less trend led amongst us, a classic loafer shape (with or without decor) are a perrenial style saviour and will look fantastic with loose boyfriend trousers for AW which nods carefully towards the androgynous styles that are set to be so big. Teamed with summer dresses and tights they'll also be a nice way to transition between the seasons.
