You may remember back in July I brought to your attention the new Diana Vickers / Very collaboration-her collection was called Dee.V for Very and I picked my fave pieces in a blog post about the launch. Well, since then she's only gone and done it again! Her newest collection is now available online from Very and is even better than the last! In keeping with her vintage-inspired, era-encompassing pieces, (my personal favourite from the last time was the lovely 60's-esque shift dress which had a great reception on here) she has also made sure to include some timeless classics, and some very of the moment, trend led pieces which just look fantastic-case in point is this beautiful faux-fur hemmed dress which makes me long for winter, and this classic leather jacket which is simply designed, and therefore, will not only work as a throwover for any outfit, but will also surpass seasonal trend directives and always be in style. The lovely Dee also has our Christmas parties covered with sparkly dresses and embellished tops. In all, her style is a juxtaposed mixture of modern and vintage pieces and it works; I'd wear every piece from her new drop and feel that it would effortlessly weave it's way into my existing wardrobe. Very says of the new collection:
" Diana is back with a stunning mid-season collection of glam dresses, 70's inspired jumpsuits, sheer shirts and biker-chic jackets."
And she is! Shop her whole new collection here.
Of course, the gorgeous Miss Fearne Cotton is an old hand at designing her own capsule collections for the Very website. Her latest offerings tap into a glamorous, evening-wear vibe, with cape backed dresses, faux fur and lots of ruching details. She doesn't leave daywear out either-there are some wonderful knitted capes, cardigans and beautiful coats to keep the cold at bay. Here she wears the drape back mesh dress which is a really stunning, statement piece with a quirky twist in the draped back detail, guarenteed to get you noticed.
Very says:
"Let's not forget Fearne Cotton's exclusive mid-season collection. Think rock-inspired dresses, cosy chunky knits, chunky heels and cute LBD's."
The new collection from the Love Label team is also a strong one-my two key picks for the season would have to be the cut work leather dress (I've been longing for a leather dress for a while, and this one, with the softly lasercut shoulders and the flattering shape, is ticking all the boxes) and this beautifully soft draped tux jacket which will look the buisness over leather pants. Both these pieces come from the Love Label Luxe collection, and can be viewed over on the Very website.
What do you make of the new collections? XO Amie
