Now and again I find a brand that I've not heard of before, and when this happens I either think, hmm, that's ok, or, I go all out batty for it. The latter has happened with PIECES, a brand I found over on Spartoo. PIECES sell jewellery, scarves, belts, bags, and, more recently, gorgeously on trend footwear. I have earmarked the soft suede chelsea boots as a must buy for next payday-they'll go wonderfully with my peg shaped cords and a chunky knit to really channel the 'heritage' trend. The basic shape, elasticated gusset, and almond shaped toe plant massive ticks next to all of my requirements for the perfect boot.
For something a little more edgy, I like these toecapped military boots too. They are the perfect height to look great with skinny jeans or a tea dress without giving that unfortunate 'stumpy leg' look that some boots do. I think they'd also look fab with chunky socks too, now that autumn has certainly approached!
A fabulous bag is a must have for any stylista and as the seasons change I always find a new bag is in order. These two that I've picked by PIECES really have it all-both made of butter soft leather, they'll only get better with age and use. Plus, the travel size Herdis holdall is a perfect addition to any travelling gal's luggage; simple and chic, it will complement rather than overshadow any look. The Dana tote is another gorgeous example and would be a perfect carry-on bag for your hols or a day bag for easy everyday utility. The pale shades will work with every outfit and the chic simplicity of the shapes and lines of the bags ensure they will never date. Love!
What do you think of PIECES? Which newly discovered brands can't you live without?
XO Amie
I have a gorgeous leather bag from Pieces (c/o Spartoo). It's a weekender one so I've yet to use it - not been anywhere since I got it!
