Today has been a day of jackets. I ended up buying two in the Topshop sale with a voucher that's out in this month's Stylist magazine-pick one up, they're free from any French Connection store, and well worth it-my voucher was worth 20% and that was on top of the sale prices. So I bought a pretty kimono, vintage type evening jacket, and (surprise surprise) a pair of tapered trousers. Fab!
The jacket I'm wearing here is only a chazzer find, I paid a tenner for it but it's absolutely beautiful, navy blue wool mix with gold buttons by Ernest Newton, and still had the (ancient) swing tag on, putting the price at £79.99. So a tenner isn't so bad really! I love the shape-it's so 'schooly' and preppy in a pretty way.
The trousers are a repeat offender, but I like to wear things I really love a lot. Hence the reason I need to clear out my wardrobe of things I don't wear-I literally wear about 20% of my wardrobe in rotation!
Final jacket of the day-Jpot, beans and cheese for tea! YUM!
