Anyone who follows my blog will know that I LOVE a good shoe. I mean, LOVE. I am prepared to spend a little more to get quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, comfort, style and longevity (I don't ask for much) in my footwear choices, which means that I don't buy shoes willy nilly....I like to shop around and find the perfect pair. However, I am never let down by one of my favourite brands: Pied a Terre. I was lucky enough to be sent some preview images of the SS12 collection and, well, there's not a pair I don't like amongst them. I was expecting the collection to be full of saccharine sweet sorbet shades, leaning on the pastel trend that is set to be so huge this Spring, and whilst those do make an appearance (I am lusting after the fuzzy peach Antin court and there were also some limoncello patent cut out courts which were pretty divine) I was actually much more impressed with the depth of the range as not only being stylish, but easy to wear with things we already own. Yes, no need to invest in a whole new wardrobe for the coming months, but a carefully chosen shoe or two can lift the whole look of any outfit. I particularly like the lattice woven block heeled sandals above (notice I've shown them in two colours-I couldn't pick my favourite!) and the simple flat ankle strapped sandal which would look amazing with any of my midi skirt collection! All the pairs will be available from the Pied a Terre website soon and I know I will definitely be investing in a pair or two! Which are your favourites? In the meantime, check out the other gorgeous styles on the website-there are still some amazing sale bargains to be had!
