A few weeks ago I took a trip down to Weston Super Mare for a couple of days to see my mum and dad who are staying there at the moment. I loved being back by the water, and the weather was lovely-sunny and unseasonably mild.
We went for a lot of walks up and down the sea front and visited the pier. I love the beach in the winter, the tourists are all gone and the place takes on an ethereal feel. I even saw a (very cold) model in a fashion shoot taking place which stands to reason as some of the scenery around the area is really breathtaking. I had a lovely time and look forward to going back soon.

I live about 20 mins from Weston and I spent so many childhood days there; I still go now for some seaside fun and gambling on th pier!
