French Connection "Jane" Courts

I absolutely love these court shoes, which, as eagle eyed readers will realise, are the same as the ones I wore in an outfit post last week. I think that a classic court shoe is something that every girl should own because they won't ever go out of style, and they'll go with everything, no matter what the outfit might be. These beauties would look as stylish with a pencil dress for the office as they would with a rolled up boyfriend jean for a weekend kicking back.

French Connection are a brand that is fast becoming a go-to for me; their footwear is always on point and they manage to make a classic style with a twist each time, whether that is a brogue with a subtle flash of patent leather, or a court, such as this, in a rather jaunty mustard shade-loving that block heel, too; lends so much more to a shoe, I feel, than a spindly stiletto.

What do you think of these shoes? Do you like the colour? They're so autumnal....I'd like to wear them with a boucle skirt, cream tights and a fitted knit for a real nod to a 70's aesthetic, brought right up to date for today.
