Contents: December's Glossybox
This is such a late post especially considering that I've already taken delivery of January's box, and need to prep a post for that one too, and we're rapidly heading towards February! I'll quickly run through the contents of the box that I received and what I make of the products!
This box had an obvious Christmas theme running through it but there weren't any totally festive products, that you wouldn't be able to use at any other time of the year, which was a bonus. I was worried I might get a stack of sparkly eyelashes or body glitter or something but I needn't have worried-all the things I got can certainly be used past Christmas!
The box contained the following:
Mary Greenwell Lemon Eau de Parfum: I don't mind receiving perfume samples in my Glossyboxes although I know they divide opinion. I really liked this perfume and as the full size retails at £90, I think this little 5ml tube is a decent product to have. I love fresh fragrances and this is certainly that.
Seche Nail Lacquer: Nail varnish is always a winner in my book and I like to receive shades I don't already have. This Seche one is an iridescent pearly red, which is unusual and also really pretty. It didn't last very long without chipping but it dried really quickly and came up a lovely colour.
Rituals Magic Touch Body Lotion: Again, body lotions are something I'll always use so I like to get them in the box. I've not tried Rituals products before but I have always heard great reviews so I was keen to try this. It really is super soft and light, but sinks in really easily and leaves your skin really soft.
Sleek Makeup Lipstick in OMG (bright red): I love bright red lipsticks, so to get this was a real win. The red is probably the brightest I own, I usually go for a blue toned red but this one is a really flat bright red and I think (hope!) it suits me. I really like it so will definitely wear it, and it seems quite long-lasting too.
Sebamed Anti Dry Night Intensive Cream: I've never heard of this brand but I always like to try out new things (probably why I subscribed to Glossybox in the first place!) and I was quite impressed with this product. The cream itself is really thick; almost like a paste which made it quite hard to blend in but once it has sunk into the skin it makes it look really supple and leaves it soft. I really liked this product and will continue to use it.
Bonus Product: Glossybox Blusher: I normally don't have much to say about Glossybox's 'own' products but I am literally about to run out of blusher so to get this was a real coup! I haven't used it yet so I will have to wait to give you some feedback on it but the colour and texture looks good so far!
So that was my December Glossybox! Hope you liked the review and I promise it won't be long to wait until my January box review!
XO Amie

I quit my glossy box about a year ago now but you have made me want to start again, I miss trying new things I wouldn't have had the opportunity to try :)
Wow, it looks like your Glossybox is way cooler than the German version. I think the bodylotion and lipstick would have been the two winners for me, I'd love to try them out too :)
I'm hosting a giveaway for some pretty smartphone cases over at my blog at the moment, if you like come and check it out:
