It's that time of year again when there's really not a whole lot to look forward to. Christmas and New Year have been and gone, and we're all back to work again. However, sometimes it's nice to plan something to look forward to; whether that's a simple Sunday afternoon stroll or a full blown weekend away. Whatever, it's nice to have a go-to outfit to hand to ensure that you're always ready to head out the door at a moments notice.
Of course, a winter coat is a must and this one from Toast is so cute, with its polka dot lining and simple shape. Of course the colour is key too; that tobacco/camel shade that was so huge a few seasons ago refuses to budge and as such is always a worthy investment.
In the same vein, a weekend holdall is a definite staple and I love the quirky look of this H&M X Margiela folded bottom tote. Simple and roomy, it will hold all your essentials-and more.
Camel and Oxblood-such a lust worthy combo! These Phase Eight skinny jeans deliver a pop of colour to the look and are a little more exciting than your basic blue jean. A classic white tee by Zoe Karssen (pricey, but super soft and keep their shape) and a snuggly scarf will be all you need to keep warm.
Finally, a sturdy boot is needed to keep those feet warm. There are a lot of women's winter shoes around but I really like the androgynous style of these by Marco Tozzi from Charles Clinkard. I think they're really cute and I love the stitching detail.
What do you think of this look?
