On Tuesday night I was lucky enough to attend the Bristol leg of the Benefit Glamouriety Roadshow. Held in Bristol Museum, it was an opportunity for Benefit employees and my blogging pals Kim, Lyzi, Steph, Tara, Megan and Katie to get together for an evening of fun and frolics.
The event was dress-coded "glam" and all the ladies made such an effort and all looked fabulous. We were greeted with a glass of rose on arrival and once I'd met my blogging buddies we made our way to the main hall to watch a 30 minute film about the growth and development of Benefit as a brand, from humble beginnings to the multi-billion pound industry it is today. It was really interesting and actually taught me a lot about Benefit that I didn't know before! I love the fun, cheeky and irreverent humour behind the packaging and the product and now learning about a little bit of the brand's history has made me love it all the more!
After the film we were treated to some delicious treats served in tea cups, and some delicious pastries for dessert whilst we watched a dance troupe perform a wonderful routine and a 40's inspired girl band "Elle and the Pocket Belles" sing some vintage (and more modern) tunes!
Overall it was a fantastic evening and just before we left we were kindly given some super cute handmade knickers from Cherry Rock Boutique (who incidentally made the incredible showgirl's outfits) which was a really lovely treat and they are so pretty, so huge thanks to them, and to Benefit for hosting a lovely evening!
