Wearing: Quiksilver jeans, Converse All Stars from Spartoo, Boden top, Vintage jacket, H&M scarf
Today I popped over to visit my mum, dad and brothers. It was my brother Jake's 24th birthday so we went out to the arcades and had a really nice lunch and it was such a lovely day. It was also freezing cold, I completely misinterpreted the weather and I was cold all day!
I couldn't wait to wear these new shoes from Converse. I have really got into cute trainers since I've been wearing my Boden leopard print ones quite a lot and I thought these white ones would be really nice for the summer. I wasn't sure they'd fit as they only had half a size down or half a size up from my usual but I went for the size down and they were surprisingly generous! They are really comfortable and despite my latest favourite book that Adrian bought me last week, (a Paris style guide) declaring that you should not wear Converse past your 26th year, I think I can still work them ok at 29! I hope! I've never had a pair before so maybe I'm a late starter!
These Quiksilver jeans are such a comfy fit and I love the colour, they cost £7.99 from TK Maxx and despite being about 4 foot too long in the leg they don't look too bad rolled up. The top is also a newbie, this was scored from the Boden sale with a £10 voucher I had making it just a fiver instead of its £45 RRP. I do love a bargain! My blazer is a real vintage school blazer I picked up in a charity shop on my birthday in 2011, and it's my favourite jacket EVER.
Hope you've had a great day whatever you've been up to. And thankyou to my mum for taking the pictures :)
XO Amie
Those jeans do look great rolled up - and that vintage blazer is fab!
Shame you were so cold though (I had loads of layers on and I still looked blue!)

You look so so lovely! xxx
I'll be 34 in about 6 weeks and I'm looking forward to wearing my Converse if the weather ever warms up! So don't worry about age, it's just a number. x
