I know I shouldn't keep going on about the weather every five minutes, but it is a English tradition, I guess, to moan about the terrible state of the weather we have! I really don't know what to put on my feet from one minute to the next-this morning I left the house in sandals in the blazing sun and managed to get home again just before a huge hail storm, lucky really as I didn't have any spare shoes with me today!
That said, it's almost June and high time to be out of the winter boots, in my opinion. Whether the weather agrees or not, I don't know! When I spotted these beautiful cut out boots by Ash at Spartoo I knew my transitional footwear conundrum was solved. I love the fact that they're a sturdy boot, and I do love a nice wedge, too. But I also adore the peep toe and super pretty cut out detailing, which makes them quite summer appropriate, even though they're black.
I've been loving my monochrome looks of late and I would wear these with my white skinny chino's and maybe an oversized black tee for a really chic look. I think they'd also look really nice with a pelmet skirt and slouchy knit for the days when you want to get your legs out and not feel overexposed! Basically, I just need the sun to shine and/or to go on another holiday (actually can I have the latter please!
Do you like these?

These are gorgeous. I'm so gutted about the weather, it really needs to start getting nicer now

I love these, imagine the tanlines if you got caught in the sun though!
