Charity Shop Finds

Wearing: Vintage cape (charity shop) Zara Jumper, Topshop coated skinnies (charity shop) Faith heels (charity shop) Cat eye sunglasses (OASAP)

I've been really successful with my charity shop finds over the last couple of weeks so I thought it would be prudent to show an outfit containing some of my finds. I wore this look a few days ago, before the weather actually came nice and it was still quite chilly, and to be honest I just wanted an excuse to wear this amazing cape that I picked up in one of my favourite haunts. It was a little pricier than I would normally pay, at £10, but I loved it so much I thought I'd try it on (something I never do) and as soon as I had I knew I'd have to get it because I just love the shape and style. It's ideal for transitional weather because it's not an overly heavy knit but still keeps you warm; it's also reversible so I can wear the lighter grey side facing out too. I love it!

The skinny jeans you'll have seen before here, I bought these a few weeks ago and they cost £6. The fit on these is fantastic and I also really like the coated denim; I thought this 'leather look' would be quite hard to wear but it really isn't and works perfectly well as daywear especially with a cosy knit!

These OASAP cat eye sunglasses are my new favourite pair! You can buy them here. I have never chosen cat eye shape shades before but I think they suit me, can't tell if I look a bit of a wally but I like them so I'm going with it! I think they also come in plain black if leopard print isn't your thing (it's definitely mine!)

Finally, the shoes! I spotted these as I was leaving one of my best charity shops (why is that, there's always one charity shop you know you'll find good things in!) They are leather courts from Faith and they cost £4. I am nostalgic for faith shoes because I used to wear them back in the day, though mine were either very pointed in neon colours or loafer style with a mega heel and platform. Happily these are neither of those styles but instead a really classic court with a heel height that suits everyday wear. For less than a fiver I wasn't going to leave them behind!

What have you been finding in the charity shops lately? I'd love to know so please share!
