Wearing: Urban Renewal jacket c/o Urban Outfitters, M&S dress, Zara heels, Marc Jacobs watch
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by ASOS to take part in a Style Challenge featuring a garment from the Urban Renewal selection of Urban Outfitters. We were kindly allowed to choose a garment which we would style in 5 different ways.
I picked this really lovely bomber jacket in a silky black fabric. I was quite unsure what to pick as there was a lot of denim featured in the list we were sent but I felt that this piece might be more versatile in terms of my own style. I thought that I'd be able to style it up and down to make it look smarter or more casual, and I am happy with the results! The jacket is so pretty and is made from vintage fabric reworked into a more modern shape. I cuffed up the sleeves to make it a little less sporty looking and found it was super easy to style, it was a really easy to wear piece that was a simple update to pretty much any look!
On Friday Adrian and I went to the Bristol Proms and I wanted to wear this dress. It's a pretty mustard coloured one that is styled with a kind of safari dress/shirt dress aesthetic but is also very clean looking, it reminds me of something you might find in Zara or Cos. I picked it up in Marks and Spencer for £20 in the sale and I think it's going to be a firm favourite, it's super comfortable as well as being a lovely colour. I teamed it with lots of gold jewellery as I usually do and these Zara leopard print heels to give it a bit more edge. I put my hair up in a high bun (because it's really easy but looks like you've made an effort!) and I was pleased with the overall result!
I'm going to feature each look on my blog over the next few days with a little more detail about how I've styled the items and why. If you'd like to look at all the outfits I made, click here to view them on the ASOS website! (how exciting haha!)
