I missed out on the Celia Birtwell x Uniqlo collection when it first launched. I wasn't sure what to get, and could only really afford one piece, so I chose some culottes (it was that or the printed blouse) and when the culottes came they did nothing for me, so I sent them back but sure enough the blouse had, by this point, sold out. Looking on the website last week, there was a teaser campaign for the new collection which has now launched, and alongside that were a few dregs of the last collection. This dress was in the sale for £9.90 so I bought it because I loved the print; I wasn't sure what the fit would be like which is why I am nervous of online shopping for things I don't know will fit, especially when you have to pay a P&P charge. But, I am really happy I bought it because it's really comfortable as well as being a really flattering shape and fit. I love the 3/4 sleeves and the print is so cute!

I have been wearing it with my bowler which definitely goes a way to making it less twee, and the lovely chain shoulder strap of my handbag also adds a bit of edge. You'll see my accessories obsession is continuing with two before-seen pieces, these Zara block heeled shoes and this Moschino handbag. I think I promised in my last post to start switching them out for something different but as you can see I am yet to do so!

I thought this dress was black on the website, but I think it's actually navy, which suits me as navy is one of my favourite colours. I know I will wear this now and also during Autumn with tights and boots;  it's definitely going to earn its place in my wardrobe!
