Yesterday afternoon I was lucky enough to be invited to a fabulous summer showcase in Bath hosted by online designer e-tailer Fashion Bloodhound. Under the capable hand of the beautiful Grazziella Pinto, this pre-loved designer clothing destination has flourished and developed into one of the premier locations to find your next great high end purchase.
The Bath showcase was always going to be a fantastic event, with up to 80% off designer items! The evening kicked off in fine fashion with Chanel biscuits courtesy of Cakey Couture and a cup of tea in the sumptuous Francis Hotel on Queens Square, the trendy and boutique vibe of the hotel lending the perfect ambience to the shopping experience. Grazziella was in full force as the hostess for the evening, making sure that we had all we needed and that any questions we had about any of the products would be swiftly answered.
On arrival I was happy to meet a blogging friend that I haven't seen for ages, the gorgeous Natalie. We spent some time catching up whilst trying on a plethora of designer bargains-prices ranged from £30 for an APC denim shirt to £40 for a silk Acne dress, right up to several hundreds for more premier items such as a Burberry catwalk mac and several beautiful Mulberry handbags. Natalie scored an amazing bargain in her Theyskens Theory leather pants, a steal at £47 (retail: over £800!)
The evening started off quietly which enabled me to take lots of snaps of the products on offer, but soon it was standing room only on the floor as scores of eager shoppers descended to try and buy. After an absolute age of deliberation I ended up purchasing a Hoss Intropia double breasted coat with a slightly flared skirt; I was torn between that and a Frances Leon Studio leather jacket and also a skirt from Raoul but in the end I chose the coat which I will surely wear all winter long, I'm sure you'll see it on the blog as the weather turns colder! It was also a bargain at £65 reduced from over £500!
I had a wonderful time at the showcase and would highly recommend having a good browse of the Fashion Bloodhound website; there are some amazing pieces to be had at prices that everyone can afford.
XO Amie
