Onesies are EVERYWHERE. It's inescapable, and the culprit for this international trend? Norwegian brand OnePiece. Developed after three friends decided to create the perfect slouchy Sunday garment, comprising a hoodie and jogging bottoms in one, without the uncomfortable waistband on the pants, OnePiece has cemented it's place at the top of the luxury loungewear market with it's slouchy, oversized onesies loved by many and often imitated!
I didn't really know that much about OnePiece, aside from their luxe loungewear offerings, and I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that they don't just sell onesies! I like the idea of luxury loungewear and I also like the idea of being able to translate that to streetwear, something I don't think I could do in a onesie (though lots of people do manage this!) so I was really excited by the Onesie alternatives that OnePiece offered!
The t shirts are soft and lightweight, in a cut and style that reminds me of those by Zoe Karssen or Wildfox. They have cute prints and cheeky logos and are the sort of thing you could relax in with a pair of slim jeans or skinny trousers for a laid back vibe. The knitwear is a definite strength of this brand, the soft handle jumpers cut in an oversized, boxy style are the perfect daywear pieces but are cosy enough to throw over pajamas for a lazy sunday afternoon, and are presented in absolutely gorgeous neutral shades of pale grey and soft vanilla.
All the fashion pieces are cast in wearable, everyday tones which will easily slip into your existing wardrobe, providing baselayer pices to build upon. Varsity jackets are reworked in a gentle quilted grey melange and fabrics included heathered jersey, waffled knits and acid softened denim.
Accessories aren't left out in the cold, and neither will you be in the supersoft beanies and (my personal favourite) chunky zipped snoods which unzip to form extra long scarves!
Of course, the mainstay of the OnePiece brand, is, without doubt, the Onesie! They come in many different colourways and prints, and they are definitely an acquired taste but are perfect loungewear for lazy days! I love this navy one, it's so cute and looks so cosy! They are unisex in sizing so you can size up if you'd like the fit to be baggy, or size down if you want a slimmer shape. The brand also caters to clothing for men and kids, and even dogs!
The lovely people at OnePiece are offering a 20% discount on any products bought with the discount code 31CREDITCRUNCHCHIC, you can take a look at the website here if you'd like to refresh your loungewear collection!
