I went on holiday a couple of weeks ago to Barcelona for the Primavera Sound festival 2014. I've never been to a proper festival before, and this was an amazing one to start with! I saw loads of brilliant bands, some that I knew of, like Haim, the National, Arcade Fire, Sharon van Etten and Mogwai, and some I didn't, like new fave Follakzoid, Touche Amore, Cloud Nothings and Factory Floor, who I had actually heard of but never seen live. Their 3am set was insane and fantastic!
Adrian and I went with a group of friends and the trip was so much fun. I have already posted some pictures from my Instagram that I took when I was over there but I also took a disposable camera so I thought I'd share some of the pictures I took on here. I wanted to take a cheap camera that I wouldn't be upset if I lost it and I know Barcelona is meant to be quite pickpocket-prolific although I didn't see much of that when I was there. I love the grainy effects you get from film camera, unfortunately several didn't come out that well as the flash was a bit temperamental but I was happy with the ones that did come out.
The main draw of the festival is of course the music but there was a plethora of amazing street style fashion to look at too. It wasn't as warm as I was hoping so I wore skinny jeans and tops most days although I did get to wear some summery dresses at the beach near to our apartment. I even had my photo taken by a Getty Images photographer which was really cool!
Needless to say I've already bought my 2015 ticket and I can't wait to go back!
XO Amie
