Wooden sandals Le Comptoir Scandinave
At first glance you'd be forgiven for thinking that these shoes were of 'Swedish Habeen' origin, such is the similarity to those simple, clean lines and ever so slightly rough-hewn leather straps in the blushest of pale beige tones. But you'd be mistaken, because these beautiful shoes are actually by a brand I've recently unearthed called 'Le Comptoir Scandinave.' Sounds a bit French, doesn't it? Ergo, I love it already, and more so when I found these lovely sandals within their collection.
To be honest, most of what I saw was a little bit too hippy for me, covered Birkenstock style slip ons which aren't really my style but I found my eye was drawn to the more simplistic, strappy styles including these sandals, above. They will look so effortless with everything and give a really beachy and low key vibe to a look. I've got a thing for a pretty wooden heeled shoe, I wrote this post back in 2013 about a favourite pair of Swedish Hasbeens, which I loved but couldn't afford at the time. What I like about Le Comptoir Scandinave is that you can buy into the look, without sacrificing quality, at a more affordable price point.
The above are in the sale at the moment for £48, down from £75 which is the entry price point for a pair of Swedish Hasbeens which can retail for over £200, making them not only beautiful but bargainous too!
