On Friday I was kindly invited to attend the 5pm catwalk show at Bristol Fashion Week. Hosted at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway, this fashion show is slightly different to others I've attended before; it's much more low key, a lot of fun, and it showcases fashions and pieces that are available in the shops at the Mall; meaning it's probably one of the more affordable shows I've gone to this season!
The show is split into scenes and these encompass everything from outwear to workwear and occasion dressing. It's slickly choreographed and styled and there are lots of inspirational ideas on how to update your winter wardrobe without spending a fortune; you can shop according to your budget and the pieces shown on the catwalk are highlighted in the relevant stores with swing tags so you can find the looks you love very easily.
Standout pieces for me included the faux fur coats which came in a plethora of colours and textures, the Autumnal looks from M&S which included fallen-leaf headpieces, and basically the entirety of Gap's showcase; their 'Dress Normal' campaign is right up my street.
Thank you to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway for an amazing event, as always!
XO Amie
