All Denim by Liquor n Poker
I've been trying to be more active on my social media of late; it's difficult sometimes to take time out to commentate on the minutiae of day to day life but I do try and share as much as possible via my blog, Instagram or Twitter, for those who like to hear about my latest fashion picks or new beauty favourites. In that vein, I've found that Twitter is a veritable plethora of both new and under my radar brands; now that they ever so helpfully 'suggest' people to follow (as I think is the norm on social media nowadays) I've been finding several new labels that I've wanted to further investigate.
One of these is a denim brand, 'Liquor & Poker.' I love a god bit of denim and they have some very artfully ripped pieces up for grabs; just the way I like them in plenty of different fits. My particular faves are the black torn up skinnies; black jeans are so easy to wear and the rips on this pair just make them even cooler.
The two generations of denim manufacturing expertise that supply the background this this brand is clearly evident. Classically cut styles meshed with fashion forward design work and on trend garment dyes mean that this is a brand that cleverly navigates the gulf between 'trend' and 'timeless' to leave a pair of jeans that will be a wardrobe staple for years to come. Moreover, they are completely attainable; priced from £40 for jeans and £28 for denim shorts and skirts, they are an investment purchase without the outlay; and will make a seamless transition into any wardrobe.
