Loafers and Boyfriend Jeans

I did say last week that the time for a slip on shoe has passed, and that I would be reaching for loafers or boots from now on. As it turns out, I have ignored my own advice and continued wearing these Topshop ones but after getting wet feet in them I have decided they are for dry weather days only! Loafers and boyfriend jeans just seem to be my favourite outfit combination.

This is one of my go to looks at the moment especially when I am just pottering about or running errands. This relaxed boyfriend jean is my favourite fit, an update on a skinny style but feeling a little fresher, more new. I love how these look with loafers and brogues; effortless and really easy.

Of course the colder weather means knitwear becomes an essential; a cute jumper adds a playful edge to any look and I've been wearing this one with skirts as well as jeans. The trench brings it back to smart; the scarf adds another element and stops it all looking too matchy.
