Playsuit by Boohoo Heels by Missguided Ring by Orelia Clutch by Whistles

It is that time of year again when parties and festivities are at the forefront of everybodys minds. I always find it exciting to think about buying pretty party clothes; maybe the sort of things that would be hopeless for everyday but would be special for an occasion or a festive night out, but you don't want to spend a fortune on things you are unlikely to wear regularly.

I've put a look together which is predominantly high street and each piece is under £50. I love this little strappy playsuit from Boohoo which would look lovely with tights and heeled ankle boots or showstopping with these crazy faux fur Missguided heels and bare legs for a special occasion. At just £22 the playsuit is a lovely alternative to a dress and the star detail around the neckline and cami straps mean you probably wouldn't even need a necklace!

The shoes are £28 and would look equally amazing with tux trousers and a sparkly top for a more demure evening look. I think the added texture on these is great and sets them apart from a typical spangly evening shoe.

To further play off this texture I had to include this amazing faux fur clutch from Whistles. At £50 it's the most expensive item but Topshop have a great dupe of this, although I think price-point wise it's very similar. I just love the pastel lilac hue and it definitely adds a glamourous edge to your look!

I kept jewellery very simple with this ring from Orelia at ASOS. It's a lovely colour and the elegant and chic design means it complements, not overpowers, the other elements of the look.

I can't wait to wear my party looks! And I may have already invested in the above footwear!
