Navy and Burgundy

I mentioned in my last post about these amazing Fashion Union brogues that I had also styled them with skinny jeans, and here's how they looked! I didn't know if they would be too clumpy to wear with jeans like this, but I like how they turned out; though I think overall I preferred the look of them with the pegged trousers I wore in the first post. 

This navy coat has got to be at least three years old now, it's been a favourite and I've worn it quite a lot on the blog. I think it will probably be retired after this winter as it feels a little bit thin now and I do have others I prefer, I just hadn't worn this one for ages so when I did get it out of the wardrobe again, I wore it a lot. I had to layer it up with a top and a cardigan to keep warm as it is so chilly at the moment, I always think it gets so much colder after Christmas when all you really want is the summer to come!

Of course, out comes the trusty beret which doesn't seem to have left my head for about a month; it's definitely my hat of choice, I can't wear a fedora or bowler in the high winds because they just blow straight off! So the beret will have to do!
