Party Boots // Brogued Flats // Classic Courts // OTK Boot // Loafer Boot
I've posted a 'seasonal shoedrobe' once before on my blog here but I wanted to revist the idea because, well, I don't know about anyone else but I am pretty bored of winter dressing now. Any way to pep up my wardrobe will do, and sometimes it's as simple as a new shoe to lift a look. With this in mind, I've picked a high five of very current, on trend styles which will immediately lend a new lease of life to those old wintery threads and provide a little style lift without breaking the bank!
I found all of these amazing styles over on Brantano, which is a brand specialising in footwear for all occasions. They have stores nationwide as well as online and the website is easy to use and carries loads of well known and established brands. I spent hours browsing (it's easy to do with shoes!) but I've selected a few pairs that I thought I would share. First up, a wonderfully bonkers studded boot from Dolcis, which has an edge of Chloe about it but at a much more affordable price. This would look great with skinny jeans for a casual evening look!
There are a few classic styles that no shoedrobe should be without, and the black court from Lotus is certainly one of those. I love how these look with a simple peg trouser and slouchy knit; smart, but not overdone, and a little insouciant too. Perfect for work or day to day and the heel on this pair is totally manageable too so you won't be wobbling about all over the place! Likewise, these amazing brogued loafers are such a perrennial staple, you'll wonder how you did without them; from work with a skirt to casual with a pair of rolled up boyfriend jeans, they'll be a hard working pair in your collection!
Of course, it's only right that current trends are reflected, and how cool are these Dolcis chunky loafer boots? I love the chelsea boot inspired styling and the cleated sole, a perfect update on an everyday must-have. The boot of the season seems to be the over the knee number, and these riding style boots will look great with jeans or shirt dresses for a casual but elegant vibe.
I definitely need to buy the loafer boots and the slip on loafers; they are my favourites!
XO Amie
