Wearing: Topshop leopard print coat Equipment silk shirt (charity shop) Gap skinny jeans Whistles boots
Ah, leopard print. My favourite of all the prints, so easy to wear, so playful and fun, and, when worn correctly, not at all reminiscent of Bet Lynch. I have a leopard print coat that I pretty much live in during Spring and Autumn (this one) and therefore certainly don't need another one. But this Topshop furry version is pretty much a wardrobe essential; since this leopard print faux fur gave up on my many a year ago, I've been on the lookout to replace it. Step forward, Toppers, with your untenable knack of finding me exactly what my wardrobe needs, sooner or later.
What I am struggling to find at the moment are black skinny jeans. These are the cornerstone of so many wardrobes, but I can't seem to find a pair to replace these knackered old Gap ones anywhere. I have tried Gap, but the fit of the pair I tried just weren't up to standard and even Topshop can't deliver, unless you want jeans that are thin enough to be yoga pants or high enough to provide corsetry benefits. I would really appreciate any suggestions or recommendations for a good pair!
Since I wear so little colour, print is key and this leopard print is definitely an easy and luxe way to update a pair of black jeans and a brown silk shirt. I also get the impression that Alexa Chung would want to borrow it so that makes me love it all the more. Imagine how cute it will look over a denim pinafore, or with some ripped up Levi's. I definitely need to go shopping again.
XO Amie
