Wearing: Vintage cardigan and tee shirt Gap skirt Whistles boots
I went to an event last night at my local shopping mall (about which I will post soon!) and part of the evening involved styling a few outfits from a brief on new season trends. I picked out loads of cool things to try on; Seventies colours, tropical prints, and amazing dresses, and in the end, I came away with items in a colour palette of khaki, navy and cream. Naturally. I'm not adverse to print, and I do like colour, but I just seem to gravitate to the more neutral side of colour palettes, even if there is some colour there it is right on the edge of the spectrum!
This outfit is no different. Classic white tee with my favourite chazza shopped cardigan slung over, the Gap skirt seen many a time on the blog (I have recently picked up a replacement) and Whistles boots which have a hole in them so are currently out of action! Basic in some respects, but works with my style and a nice change from jeans!
Being in the countryside is such a nice change from the pace of the city. It's just lovely when the sun is shining and winter seems finally to be retreating!
