Wearing: Whistles coat Whistles silk blouse Monki hat ASOS bag ASOS jeans Vintage shoes
I don't think I've posted this coat on the blog before but it's a definite favourite and I've got some more looks coming up involving it. I really like the simplicity; Whistles are well know for their beautiful cuts and this one was no exception. I also like the length; slightly longer than most other styles I own and a little mannish; tempered with a favourite silk blouse which I don't think has been blogged about either. This is also a Whistles piece and though I rarely wear colour, I adored the print and the fact that it look very alike to a version of one by Equipment, which essentially was what sold it to me!
Both these pieces have sold out now but I've found similar styles here for the coat and here for the shirt. The jeans are my new holy grail skinny jean, they are ASOS Lisbon jeans (here) and they are amazing. Thicker than the Topshop denim, super skinny, not too mega high on the waist but a great rise and these ones are a brilliant wash, the busted knees adding to the coolness factor! The bag is a great daytime handbag and it also came from ASOS. It's real leather too which belies its slightly bargainous price, not forgetting to add additional money off vouchers from MVC to make it even cheaper! I'm also loving this hat from Monki providing a bit of respite to my signature tan beret!
Of course I had to include a bit of vintage and it comes courtesy of these loafers; it's warm enough now to wear an open foot (some days!) and these are the perfect go-between from boots to sandals. I'll be reaching for the ballerinas soon I'm sure, and then it's on to the open-toes!
