Burgundy and metallics

Last week I went off on my holidays to Barcelona for Primavera Sound Festival 2015. I had an amazing time and the sun shone the entire week which was such a treat. When I went to shoot these outfit pics the sun was out back in the UK, too; not quite the 25 degrees I'd been used to but pleasant nonetheless!

I am such a terrible fashion blogger because yet again I'm wearing the same jeans as in my last outfit post (here) although it's nice to see them styled for summer, not winter this time! There was definitely no need to put a wooly jumper or coat on whilst the sun's been shining, and the Primark sandals I posted about here work really well with these so I've been glad of the opportunity to wear them!

I am loving burgundy at the moment despite the usual connotation that it's a winter colour, I actually quite like it with a bit of a tan and it makes a change from my usual beige / cream / grey colour palette. I also like to mix metallics so there's gold and silver going on here; I know some people don't like to mix these shades but I like that it adds a bit of interest to the look. My charm bracelet is from My Flash Trash and I will be featuring it in a post soon but I couldn't wait to wear it; it's such a cool idea in that you buy the bracelet which is an ID style and then you can clip on any number of charms that you choose. 

I'll be posting about Primavera in more detail soon and even managed to take some outfit pictures to share in between chilling on the beach and watching some amazing bands so they will be up soon!
