Wearing: Topshop jeans Project Social T tee shirt ASOS hat and bag Vintage shoes
I posted about these Dree jeans in a style essentials post here and I have to be honest, I think I'm a bit short for them. I wore them yesterday with ballet pumps and I said to Adrian I felt like I was wearing flares that I had shrunk in the wash! They are meant to be cropped, but I feel like on my short legs they end up looking a little like ankle crackers. Not that it matters, really; they are just about the comfiest jeans ever and the denim is incredibly soft, so I've actually worn them a fair bit since I picked them up in the Topshop sale.
This outfit post ties in quite nicely with yesterdays post (Topshop denim haul) and I should have probably included these ones, too, but they are definitely more 'fashion' jeans than everyday staple styles. I like them best with a heel, I think; it gives them a sort of 70's vibe that I really quite covet. If you like them, they are reduced to a tenner and there are plenty of pairs left in stock on the Topshop website here.
My tee shirt is also from Topshop but the brand is Project Social T, an American brand selling incredibly soft and wearable jersey separates. I loved the slogan tees but waited until they went into the sale to buy as they are usually quite expensive; at £12 this one was half price and I still think that's enough for a tee!
I chose to update a simple jeans and tee look with tan accessories to lend a summer vibe. The straw hat also helps! The hat and bag are both from ASOS and the shoes are my fave vintage pair, which have had a lot of wear this summer! They are a mid heel but super comfortable and I love the way they seem to go with everything!
