Last weekend I was invited by the brand White Stuff to attend their 30th birthday get together at the glorious WoWo campsite in Uckfield, Sussex. The camp is set within the rolling hills and stunning forest of Sheffield Park and the site not only offers traditional camping but also some 'glamping' options in the form of gypsy wagons, shepherds huts and yurts!
I took my mum along with me for the weekend and we spent a sunshiny Saturday enjoying a massage, picnicking outside our wagon, socialising, and roaming around the site. We even managed to enjoy a spot of shopping thanks to the White Stuff sample sale that was held during the day!
We were housed in the beautiful 'Clarabella' wagon, an old horse-drawn furniture removal wagon lovingly restored to her former quirky glory. Mismatched crockery and rag rugs accentuated the spacious wagon's rustic feel, with bunkbeds and padded benches providing home comforts. Much better than camping!
I'll be posting another set of images showing the campsite after the sun had gone down, trees prettily strung with fairly lights showed the way back to our wagon after an evenings entertainment. Sunday dawned bright but the weather soon turned to rain as we packed up and said our goodbyes, after a short but very sweet weekend away. I was pleased to have packed my Sundried sunglasses for the Saturday which helped to keep the glare at bay; made from bamboo they were the perfect accompaniment to my outfit! Their full range will be launching in 2016 but in the meantime you can keep up with their goings on over on their Twitter page here.
Thank you White Stuff for the invite and WoWo for the amazing hospitality! Check out the new autumn/winter range over on the White Stuff website here, and if you are interested in camping at WoWo (I highly recommend it!) you can visit their site here.
XO Amie
