Wearing: Whistles tee Topshop jeans Les Tropeziennes sandals H&M backpack
It's funny, I'm not usually a fan of logo tees. I firmly believe that if you have to have it written on a tee shirt, it probably isn't true, so excuse my unashamed irony at having 'beaute' scrawled across my top. I really like the fit of this Whistles tee and anything French is always on my radar so please don't think I'm super obnoxious and consider myself a beauty; I don't! I just like the top!
I went to Weston over the weekend for my mums birthday so it was a nice opportunity to snap some pics. I don't like to think of the end of August as the end of summer, and though it's felt like it's been winding down a little, the sun shone and it was a lovely to be able to wear short sleeves and sandals. I am hoping that the sunshine will continue into September, and I am able to wear my summer wardrobe a little more before the jumpers and tights have to come back out again!
You can see how I styled these jeans previously here, they are the Topshop Hayden style that I picked up in the sale when I was really going after the 'ecru denim' trend. I love them and I think they also look really great with ballet pumps and a lightweight jumper, as I've also been wearing them for casual bank holiday vibes. I also wore them with a navy top the last time, they do seem to look great with a splash of navy, one of my favourite colours.
I recently revamped the blog and I will be talking about this in a separate post but I hope you like the new layout; it's a lot simpler and uncluttered, and in my opinion, a lot more professional too. I was a little sad to wave goodbye to my custom made sidebar buttons, however Adrian still helped with the design element by writing the blog header which I love. I am thrilled with the overall look and hope it is easier to read and navigate than it was previously, with a choice of posts to read from the off, without having to scroll through or search by labels. Let me know your thoughts!
XO Amie
