#BristolFashionWeek warm up with Accessorize

As London Fashion Week draws to a close, the fashion fun continues with the return of Bristol Fashion Week to the Fashion pavilion at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. Running from Wednesday 30th September through until Sunday 4th October, Mark Heyes returns to the catwalk ably assisted this year by Denise Van Outen. I was invited to attend a warm up event for the biggest week in Bristol's fashion calendar at the gorgeous Accessorize store at The Mall, to chomp on cake and talk new season trends!

The store manager Amy guided us through the collections which this season cater for all tastes. There's the high fashion, trend led 1970's story which draws upon earthy tones of mustard and browns, offset back to rich reds and denim blues for a grown up boho feel. Fringing features heavily here and faux fur adorns blanket check capes and ponchos. 

For the more classic dresser, a rosy palette of shades from pastel pink to puce and back to burgundy and claret provide a step change from the vibrancy of the throwback trends. Simple, clean shapes in the 'Z' range which consists of gold and silver plated jewellery complements this muted palette beautifully and adds interest to accessories with layered rings and necklace styles.

For the more adventurous, earrings have seen a huge advance with single bar 'ear crawlers' and mismatched earring and ear-cuff combinations making your lobes the focal point of your accessory styling. Similarly, double ended ball earrings in the material of the moment - marble - brings an instant dose of Scandi-cool to your look.

It definitely doesn't seem right to talk about Christmas yet but, it will inevitably creep round and Accessorize have a fabulous range of gifting product readily available. From cutsey purses to an incredible new range of cosmetics and jewellery, there's something for everyone (and an awful lot for yourself!)
