I haven't written a Fashion Maths post since November and I thought it would be nice to include a couple of picks from the winter capsule. I bought this wool jumpsuit as part of the winter capsule and I have worn it fairly frequently; it's wool so it's really warm, and unlike the judo jumpsuit I have it's not cropped, which makes it a little more practical for this time of year!
Pairing a looser leg silhouette with an ankle boot is not something I've really tried before but I really like the look. With the weather being so rubbish, it's often better to wear an ankle boot than a loafer or a sneaker and these Topshop black leather boots also bring a smart edge to the slouchy tailoring of the jumpsuit.
For rainy days, a faux fur coat is not the best idea but for crisp, cold wintery days I love to add some print to a plain look with this one from Topshop. It's now sold out but there are some lovely alternatives here and here.
I've had this Maison Martin Margiela for H&M bag for years, I bought it on the release of the collection in 2012 but I haven't used it that much, despite how beautifully it's made. It's actually quite impractical as it's huge but doesn't have a shoulder strap, so you have to carry it in your hand which makes it really heavy, especially when it has things in it! It's so unique and fun though and I really like it. The collection sold out very quickly but some pieces are available on re-sale sites like Vestiare collective, and you can pick up similar styles on ASOS.
