The winter capsule wardrobe has definitely been brought to you by the jumpsuit; I now have at least four styles which I'm sure flouts the rules of a capsule wardrobe but omitting dresses, for me, jumpsuits are the equivalent. I have been thinking about what I want to buy for the spring capsule and realistically there's not that much I'm am lacking at the moment; it's hard to think about dressing for sunnier climes when the weather is so dreary. I'm planning to post a capsule catch up over the next week or so to talk about how this winter capsule has worked out and what I think about the project in general.
Back to this look; slightly tapered leg, woolen jumpsuits are my obsession and they are also surprisingly warm (if a bit of a bugger to go to the toilet in-you do have to get completely undressed!) and this pyjama style is slightly loose fitting and supremely comfortable. I paired it with this leather jacket from Urban Outfitters that I bought as part of the winter capsule and I love it, although I think it would have been better kept for the spring one as it's a bit light weight for now.
These Finery boots have definitely become my winter staple. As comfortable as slippers and in a neutral shade that goes with everything, I've been wearing them almost daily. The block heel makes them a little smarter than the average flat boot but it's not so high I can't wear them all day. Basically, perfect!
