Wearing: vintage jumper (similar here) and jeans (similar here) ASOS scarf (here) Whistles boots (similar here)
Buying second hand has been a main consideration for the spring capsule, and whilst I've picked up a couple of things from the high street, these have either been basics (a long sleeved, navy tee, plain black ballet flats) or rather specific items I haven't been able to find in the chazza. I have upped my second hand shopping a bit more recently with a visit to the Bristol Vintage Kilo Sale (more on that here) and I'll be sharing a haul of the items I picked up soon, too.
An item I wanted to add to my spring wardrobe was a thick knitted jumper. An odd item for springtime, but I thought it would be useful to have such a thing to throw on with jeans and skirts for cooler days. I found this one in a local charity shop for around £4.50 and the fit is just lovely; the knit is really heavy and thick and perfect to wear with just a tee underneath during this in-between weather.
I've also been on the hunt for the perfect pair of vintage Levi's and I did get completely ripped off with this pair that I bought in Urban Outfitters for £46. I know, I know, such a rip! I have however been looking for the perfect pair for so long, chazzers were not forthcoming and I tried a few other pairs in vintage shops to no avail, when I tried these on in UO I was a bit gutted because they fit so nicely but OMG so expensive. You can get them here if you are also after a pair but not having much luck finding any!
I have dragged out these Whistles boots from a couple of years ago to try and switch up from my Finery pair that I just wear constantly! I really like these even thought they aren't as comfy as my Finery slippers but I am conscious that I don't want to wear them out! My scarf is from ASOS, I bought it recently as my only other scarf is navy and as I wear a lot of navy and black, I thought this would make a nice contrast. It's in the sale, too!
