M&S Blogging Party
After the live Bristol Fashion Week blogging show on Thursday, I was invited down to one of the Mall's anchor stores to continue the fashionable celebrations at Marks & Spencer. The Mall's M&S is huge, boasting giant womenswear and beauty departments as well as a food hall, cafe and deli bar.
As such, the store was well equipped to host a fabulous blogging event, and the personal styling suite was booked out just for our use. Continuing the 'British Summer Time' theme laid down by Fashion Week, M&S had laid on all the elements needed for a great British summer; from picnic benches bedecked with scatter cushions to relax on, to summery fizz and nibbles on tap. There were also ladies on hand to administer summer beauty tips and advice, chat through the ranges available in store (including brands such as Stila and Dr. Hauschka, as well as their own in house ranges, such as Rosie for Autograph) and even offer mini manicures!
This time, clothing was artfully displayed in outfit format, draped onto fitting room doors, which definitely had more of an impact than clothes simply hanging on to rails; palazzo pants with fitted tops and plisse pleated metallic skirts paired with prim flouncy blouses were just a couple of highlights.
It was lovely to chat to the large number of bloggers at the event and great to see a lot of new faces, as well as old! M&S had gone to such a great effort, as usual, to put on a wonderful event and we were even given fabulous goodie bags as we left. A great end to a fantastic evening at Bristol Fashion Week.
