Wearing: Co-ord and bag c/o New Look Topshop coat vintage hat and jewellery Zara shoes
I posted earlier in the week about the New Look Occasion Hub and when they kindly sent me some items to style up for a day and night look, I was really excited to put my outfitting skills to the test. I have already posted my 'night' look here, but for day I wanted to dial it back to my own personal favourite way of dressing; casual but not too dressed down, with a touch of quirk.
This co-ord is so easy to wear, and it can easily be dressed up or down. I have styled it with my leopard print coat to add a bit of texture and print to the look and kept the accessories minimal to avoid the look feeling too cluttered. This blush and snakeskin print bag is so cute, I love the slightly grannyish feel to the structured top handle style (I think the Queen would like it!) but it's made super modern with the colourway and texture.
These Zara shoes are a good few years old but they are so comfortable and have worn really well. I always get compliments on them when I wear them and the nude colourway means that they pretty much go with everything! I usually steer clear of ankle straps on shoes as I feel they can make cut your legs off and make them look a little stumpy, but I really like the way that these ones are cut so that the strap hits slightly higher on the leg, which avoids any stumpiness!
Out of the two outfits I can't pick a favourite; I've tried to keep the looks within my own personal style which has been easy with the lovely pieces New Look supplied. Don't forget to check out their Occasion Hub to have a look at all the other gorgeous items there.
XO Amie
