I talked recently about some very overpriced jeans that I bought from Urban Outfitters. Although expensive, they were exactly what I had been looking for, and the fit is excellent; since I hadn't been able to find any in the charity shops, they were a rather indulgent treat!
It did, however, open my eyes a little more to the Urban Renewal range at UO. Vintage and reworked pieces are hand selected and reimagined for a modern shopper and although the prices aren't cheap, I have selected some of my favourite items (in the sale!)
A flannel shirt is a great piece which can be dressed up or down, worn open or closed and whilst these are quite easy to come by in the chazzers, the colour of this one is really lovely.
A co-ord is a perfect summer outfit and I love the tropical floral print on this one; it would be perfect for holidays. The top is £14 and the bottoms are £15.
Highwaisted trousers are something I always look out for, but the fit can be tricky if you buy second hand. These re-worked ones are cut high on the waist and tapered through the leg. I love the colour too!
Raw hems are definitely still a thing, and this cropped camo jacket has been cut to a shorter, boxy length. I'm sure this would be quite simple to DIY! I love the idea of wearing camo with a really feminine piece, such as this dress; it really adds and extra grunge element and is really cool.
An oversized white sleep shirt is transformed from vintage fabric remnants into a perfect summer shirt dress. Team with espadrilles for a chic and easy beach look-this would be perfect for throwing on over a bikini. This cord pinny dress is also a really sweet summer dress option-wear with bare legs and sandals on long summer days.
Finally, I always like to peruse the accessory section! These stacking rings are unusual, and would look great worn across both hands. They are quite dainty and I really like the texture.
Have you shopped Urban Renewal before?
XO Amie
