These pictures were taken on possibly the hottest day of the year so far, and since then it's been nothing but rain and dreary weather. I was just starting to think about my summer wardrobe and what it would involve, and a couple of times this week I've wanted to put the heating back on and dig out my jumpers! So disappointing!
Cut off jeans are so on trend at the moment and these are a great colour for summer, although I have also worn them with ankle boots in the winter. They're really versatile and super comfy, which is unusual in non-stretch denim but these aren't too rigid so they are pretty easy to wear.
Crop tops strike fear into most people and I don't even really remember wearing them in the 90s, although they were really cool then-it just wasn't really my style. I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to wear a 'Mel C' style crop top (basically a sports bra) but this one, which is loose and finishes just on the waist, is definitely doable. I love the fabric, which has a gorgeous drape, and the polkadot print is lovely too.
XO Amie
