Embryolisse Laboratories Lait-Creme Fluide (c/o) buy here
Moisturising is so important for the skin and especially so in the summer (when I am trying to tan/fake tan too!) so I was excited to try out this new skin cream by Embyolisse Laboratories. It's actually a multi use product, and can be used not only as a moisturiser, but as a makeup remover and an aftersun lotion, too. I love multipurpose products, because they are usually quite gentle, and for ease of use there is nothing better than a single use product that does everything you need.
The cream itself is slightly denser than a typical 'fluid' would be, and it's very creamy. It has a similar sort of texture to e45 cream, and it is barely scented, which I like; there's nothing worse than a great product with a really potent fragrance, especially if you're using it on your face. The bottle contains 500ml of product so you get a lot, and if you did want to use it as a makeup remover it would last for ages! I've used it as a moisturiser and you only need a small amount, as it's creamy and a little goes a long way.
Embryolisse is a French brand that has recently celebrated its 65th anniversary. The Lait-Creme Fluide is a cult beauty product much loved by makeup artists and having tried it, I can see why; the lotion is non-greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving it soft and soothed.
I have really enjoyed trying this product and I will continue to use it, I try to vary the days that I apply fake-tan based moisturiser with non tanning ones to avoid the orange effect so this one has definitely become my go-to on the days that I am not wanting to tan. It's also really rich and I think will be lovely to use on dry winter skin, too, so it's definitely a bathroom cabinet staple year-round.
