Connock London Kukui Oil body wash and body lotion c/o Bath & Unwind (competition prize)
I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous Connock London gift set in a competition and I wanted to review it on the blog but I had loads of other products to get through first, so it's taken me a little while to get around to posting my thoughts on it.
The set retailes for £39 (buy here) and for the price you get two 200ml bottles of product. Both the body wash and lotion smell amazing, and the body wash contains aloe vera to soothe and calm, vitamin E to heal and protect, and extract of papaya to aid skin's texture. The scent is fresh and slightly spicy, almost woody, making it perfect for this time of year, and it works into a lather quickly and easily. I love the fact that the bottles have pumps, too, which makes dispensing the product fuss free.
The body lotion is super thick and creamy, with a luxurious texture and the same spicy scent which lingers on the skin after application. Non greasy, and containing hydrating shea butter, along with smoothing macadamia oil to really treat winter-ravaged skin and combat dryness, something I definitely suffer from when the colder weather sets in.
The set isn't cheap, and even on their own, the thought of paying £18 for a shower gel would make a lot of people baulk; however, if you were thinking about treating a friend or family member it would make an amazing luxury beauty treat for Christmas, or a lovely present for yourself!
