The Accessory Edit - January

Mark Jacobs Decadence rollerball, Jewellery, brooch, watch all vintage

I  thought it would be nice to look at some of the accessory items that I have been reaching for during the month of January. I often post outfits or shots of clothing I am enjoying, but it's rare that I feature accessories - simply because I'm quite loyal to a few pieces and wear them all the time. I had a bit of a clear out of my jewellery collection earlier in the month, though, and I've picked out a few bits that I've been wearing more frequently to talk about.

I had wanted to add the Marc Jacobs Decadance perfume to my collection for a while but it is so expensive! I managed to find a brand new rollerball version on Depop for a good price so this has been my go-to for January. It's handy to put in a purse or makeup bag, too, without having to carry a huge bottle around (and the Decadence bottle is giant!) and because it's a rollerball, there's limited wastage.

Adrian bought me this beetle brooch for Christmas and I love it. It's really unusual and I like jewellery that is a little different, so this is perfect. I have worn it frequently on jackets and coats and it adds a fun element to any look. I also love these statement brooches.

My favourite pieces of arm candy are my vintage watch (picked up in a charity shop for a couple of quid) and this torque bangle. I wear these pieces daily and I love the simple shape of the bracelet and the vintage vibe of the watch. I don't care about mixing metals - I am happy to wear gold and silver together, thought predominantly I do wear gold. Shop similar watches here and here and bracelet here.

Finally, this ring was a Christmas gift from my family last Christmas (2015) and I recently re-discovered it and have started wearing it again. It's a great costume piece and looks very chic worn alone as a statement ring. It's a vintage piece but this one is similar.
